About the Role:
The Procurement Senior Associate is responsible for managing end-to-end local and international purchasing activities. This role works closely with suppliers to ensure accurate, efficient, and value-driven procurement. It also involves monitoring orders through to delivery and maintaining accurate records in the ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Processing and Placement
- Process purchase requests from end-users within agreed timelines
- Coordinate with vendors on order-related concerns, recommend adjustments, and revise purchase orders as needed
- Ensure all procurement documents comply with BIR regulations
2. Order Monitoring and Tracking
- Update the order monitoring tracker and ERP system after purchase orders are sent to vendors
- Proactively follow up on pending orders or shipments
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders on order status
3. Process Improvement and Special Projects
- Review and enhance existing procurement processes to improve efficiency
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Support special projects and other procurement-related initiatives as needed
Job Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of relevant procurement experience
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes, including negotiation, strategic sourcing, and vendor management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
