About the role:
The Segment Manager - Health Corporate and Performance (HCP) will identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the HCP sector. This position is essential for driving market penetration, securing contracts, and establishing long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the Philippines. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in sales and business development, particularly with high-value products sold to large organizations, along with excellent contract management, negotiation, and consultative selling skills, and expertise in financial and operational leasing models.
Key responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Opportunity Mapping: Conduct thorough market analysis to uncover opportunities and unmet needs within the HCP sector, developing strategies for market entry, deal-hunting, and growing market share.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets for high-value products with a focus on managing tenders and direct sales to large institutions.
- Account Management: Build, manage, and expand long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within targeted organizations, ensuring consistent communication and proactive client support.
- Contract & Tender Management: Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, including contract negotiation and ongoing contract management, while developing tender proposals, responding to RFPs, and ensuring compliance.
- Financial & Operational Leasing Expertise: Use in-depth knowledge of logistics, leasing, and maintenance contracts to provide tailored, flexible solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver added value to meet client needs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with business, marketing, and after-sales teams for seamless project execution, including training sessions and product demonstrations.
- Reporting & KPIs: Regularly update on the sales pipeline, market insights, and competitive intelligence, achieving or surpassing quarterly and annual sales goals.
What we're looking for:
- Sales Experience: Minimum 5 years in sales or account management, with a successful track record in complex product sales.
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience with large institutions, including hospitals, corporate offices, government entities, or industrial facilities.
- Consultative Selling & Negotiation: Strong consultative approach and negotiation skills to close high-value deals and foster long-lasting client relationships.
- CRM & Salesforce Knowledge: Proficiency in CRM systems; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Tender & Direct Sales: Solid understanding of tender processes and direct sales strategies for large organizations.
- Logistics & Leasing Knowledge: Deep knowledge of logistics, maintenance contracts, and leasing to design customized solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions effectively; fluency in English required, Japanese a plus.
