About the Role
As a Management Accounting Intern, you will support business unit leaders by assisting in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial data. This role provides hands-on experience in cost analysis, financial planning, and performance reporting to support informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Analysis and Reporting
◦ Assist in preparing monthly, annual, and long-term cost projections, trend analyses, and expenditure forecasts
◦ Support the analysis of financial data to identify insights for business decisions
◦ Aid in the preparation of reports for management review
• Cost and Business Analysis
◦ Assist in collecting and analyzing operational costs
◦ Contribute to recommendations based on financial insights
◦ Support the evaluation of processes and policies to help improve cost efficiency and profitability
• Cross-Functional Coordination
◦ Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Corporate Services, Marketing, Product Management)
◦ Support the computation and analysis of importation and operational costs
Qualifications
• Must-Have
◦ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
◦ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
◦ Knowledgeable of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
◦ Detail-oriented and organized
◦ Willing to learn and support finance operations
• Nice-to-Have (Optional but recommended!)
◦ Bachelor’s Degree in Management Accounting
◦ Familiarity with accounting concepts or financial documentation
◦ Experience with data entry or administrative tasks (school or internship)
