As a Government Accounting Intern, the intern will assist in various accounting functions, including but not limited to:
- Preparing balance sheet schedules and settling accounts related to government taxes
- Reconciling accounts for government-related transactions
- Summarizing transactions, collecting supporting documents, and filing records
- Assisting in financial statement reporting and management reports
- Supporting internal auditing procedures
- Participating in special projects based on workload, skills, and available opportunities
