About the Role

As an IT Technical Support Intern, you will support the IT team in providing technical assistance and maintaining the company’s systems and infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and end-user support within a fast-paced and technology-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  •  • End-User Support

    •     ◦ Provide technical assistance to users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues

    •     ◦ Support setup and configuration of devices and workstations

    •     ◦ Respond to technical concerns via email, phone, or in person

  •   • System Maintenance and Support

    •     ◦ Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT systems, including networks and peripherals

    •     ◦ Support system updates, patches, and routine maintenance tasks

    •     ◦ Help ensure system performance, reliability, and security

  •   • Software and Configuration

    •     ◦ Assist in installing and configuring software applications across devices

    •     ◦ Support testing and deployment of updates and new tools

  •   • Documentation and IT Assets

    •     ◦ Maintain records of IT inventory, configurations, and support activities

    •     ◦ Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions for future reference

  •   • Training and User Support

    •     ◦ Assist in creating simple user guides and training materials

    •     ◦ Support basic user training to improve IT literacy and productivity

  •   • Security and Compliance

    •     ◦ Assist in implementing IT security policies and best practices

    •     ◦ Support monitoring of systems to ensure data and network protection


Qualifications

Must-Have

  •   • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology

  •   • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking

  •   • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  •   • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  •   • Proficient in Google Workspace and familiar with Windows or macOS


Nice-to-Have (Optional but recommended!)

  •   • Familiarity with tools such as AppSheet, VoIP systems, or network devices

  •   • Exposure to IT infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, switches, access points)

  •   • Experience handling CCTV systems or endpoint security tools

  •   • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Azure Fundamentals)
