🌟 The Procurement Intern will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Services Procurement team in day-to-day purchasing activities, vendor coordination, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and timely procurement operations.
📋 The duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assist in sourcing vendors and requesting quotations for various company needs
Support canvassing and comparison of supplier prices, quality, and lead times
Help prepare purchase orders and monitor status of requests and deliveries
Assist in receiving and checking delivered items against purchase requests
Maintain and organize procurement documents such as purchase orders, delivery receipts, and supplier files
Help update procurement trackers and reports for monitoring purchases and usage
Coordinate with team members in monitoring stock levels of office supplies and materials
Assist in encoding and updating system entries (e.g., Arrival Details in AX, if applicable)
Provide general administrative support including filing, documentation, and data entry
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Admin, Finance, and other departments for procurement needs
🎯 What we are looking for:
Currently taking up Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or other related courses
Good communication skills: Able to clearly express ideas both in written and verbal form
Detail-oriented: Ensures accuracy in data entry, documentation, and tracking
A quick learner and open to feedback
