 The Business Development Associate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and supporting the sales team in expanding market presence within the Health Corporate and Performance (HCP) sector. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with 3-5 years of experience in business development and sales, ideally in sectors involving high-value, complex products. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify new business opportunities, execute sales strategies, and support the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Lead Generation:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and target clients within the HCP sector.

  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.

  • Develop and maintain a database of prospective clients, ensuring timely follow-ups and relationship nurturing.

Sales Strategy & Support:

  • Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies aimed at acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships.

  • Support senior team members in pitching high-value products such as medical devices, industrial equipment, and professional-grade machinery.

  • Participate in contract negotiations and prepare proposals for tenders and RFPs in collaboration with the senior sales team.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers.

  • Provide post-sale support and ensure clients are satisfied with services and products delivered.

  • Coordinate with the internal teams (marketing, sales operations, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Assist in product demonstrations and client presentations when needed, leveraging knowledge of products and services to convey value propositions.

Sales Reporting & Target Achievement:

  • Monitor and report on sales pipeline, market feedback, and competitor activities.

  • Track individual performance against targets and KPIs, actively seeking opportunities to improve sales outcomes.

  • Contribute to achieving quarterly and annual sales goals by meeting or exceeding set targets.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, particularly in selling high-value, complex products (e.g., medical devices, industrial-grade equipment, or similar sectors).

  • Proven experience in handling sales cycles, including lead generation, qualification, closing deals, and post-sales support.

  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present to clients and internal stakeholders confidently.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, with Salesforce knowledge being a plus.

  • Knowledge of tender processes and direct sales strategies for large institutions.
