AX Developer (Support-Focused)

As an AX Developer (Support-Focused), you will primarily support, maintain, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics AX–based systems, with a strong emphasis on backend processes, data integrity, and reporting using Microsoft SQL Server. The role focuses on system stability, production support, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications.

We welcome both experienced engineers and candidates who are willing to learn Microsoft Dynamics AX. Prior AX experience is an advantage but not required. Training will be provided for individuals with strong technical fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a fast-learning mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide development and production support for Microsoft Dynamics AX, including issue investigation, bug fixes, and system enhancements
  • Design, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views, and reports supporting AX and integrated applications
  • Develop and maintain C#/.NET applications and services that integrate with AX
  • Analyze and resolve data, performance, and integration issues, particularly in SQL-intensive workflows
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to scope, implement, and support system changes
  • Ensure system reliability through proper documentation, monitoring, and support processes
  • Participate in engineering best practices such as code reviews, testing, and CI/CD where applicable


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Experience developing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX (X++) or similar ERP systems is preferred but not required
  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills (complex queries, joins, indexing, performance tuning, stored procedures)
  • Experience with C#/.NET development
  • Understanding of end-to-end application workflows, especially ERP-driven systems
  • Familiarity with unit and integration testing
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a support-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work effectively with product, business, and operations teams
